Amy Butcher & Women Writers: A Reading

What an amazing event last night at the Performing Arts Center!  Am happy to have shared the stage with writers Amy Butcher, Brooke Schafer and Blossom Twitchell.  Topping off the evening was the work of artists Mary Goddard and Jennifer Younger.  Thank you to the Sitka Fine Arts Camp crew, Old Harbor Books and Kenley Jackson for holding space for women to share stories and words.  Even dinner was provided for us backstage:  soup, bread, super greens salad and homemade cookies.  And talk about a fine crowd – we all braved cold-for-Sitka temps to catch the spin of tales.  A perfect evening!
