The first detail I noticed about Venus Magazine is its welcome:

Venus Magazine is an international literary and arts publication on print and online. Venus is dedicated to the beauty of the ethereal, the celestial light of words and strokes. We look for softness, yearn for light. Think fairy pink slippers, tinsel and dust. Think candle wax dripping, moon beams skimming still water. We want darkness, light, softness, pain, and magic. We want the beauty but also the bruises, the songs that ring and the notes that scratch. We want your work.

Such an inviting call for possible publication!  I thank the editors of Venus Magazine for including my poems “Sound,” “Light Catcher” & “Instead, a Sign” in their current issue. Thrilled, and thankful.

Thank you to the editors of Midnight Circus/EAB Publishing for including my work in the Winter 2017 issue.  The journal is available for purchase through Amazon.

Editor and poet Hayley Mitchell Haugen (What the Grimm Girl Looks Forward To, Finishing Line Press, 2016) co-founded the print version of Sheila-Na-Gig in 200o with Kristine Sanders.  This venture published 14 volumes of the journal along with three chapbooks, featuring over 400 poets and awarding $2000 in contest prizes.

Sheila-Na-Gig re-opened as an online journal and publication venue in the fall of 2016.  I am grateful to have published work in both the fall and now winter issues of Sheila-Na-Gig.  Follow the link and you’ll find my poems “Le Creuset,” “Wooden Boardwalk,” “Moon” & “At the Southern Entrance of Lynn Canal.”  I am over the moon to learn that “Le Creuset” was listed as the Winter 2016 Poetry Contest Winner.

Thank you to guest editor Tanaya Winder for including my poem, “My Daughter Teaches Me to Read a Poem,” in the Fall 2016 issue of Yellow Medicine Review.  It is such an honor to see this poem included in the #NoDAPL section of this journal dedicated to the theme of Resilience.

Daphne Magazine‘s first issue just went live and I am grateful that my poem “This Pot” was offered a space for publication.

Allegro Poetry Magazine is an online magazine based in the UK and edited by British poet, Sally Long.  Thank you to Sally Long and Allegro for including my poem “Road Trip” in this themed travel issue.
